Secret Spot

February 23, 2017

Something I grapple with a bit is whether or not to give away my favorite shooting locations when asked. On one hand, whenever I get a solid recommendation from a fellow photographer, I'm a happy kiddo. And quite frankly, nobody is ever going to shoot the same spot the same way. It can be kind of fun to see how someone else approaches a location. On the other hand, one doesn't just give away gems like that when you spend so much time cultivating a list of magical locations (like this spot above, where I shot some great shots of a kickboxer named Rachel). So, how about this? I propose a spot for a spot trade. If you want to know anywhere I've shot, I'll be happy to tell you, so long as you provide me with one of your own favorite locations. Sound fair? Excellent.

Fresh Grams

Panama City in the distance through the jungle. I have no words Oh man, crazy to think we were there a week ago. San Blas is one of the most amazing places I’ve ever visited. The music is great, the breeze is cool and the rocks are red. As lovely as the world is, it’s always nice to be home. Sloth. I mean…. The San Blas islands are a rather hard to believe place. Remote, quiet, and indescribably beautiful, this is probably the farthest away you can get close to home.
Happy Fourth of July from the Embera Quera community in Panama!🇵🇦
